An important care home for the elderly will be opened in Cameroon with the support of Premier Loto.
The care home at the Maison de Nazareth will ensure elderly people in the Littoral Region have access to food and health equipment.
A spokesman for Premier Projects, the charity division of Premier Loto said: “It is a great pleasure to lay the first stone as we build this centre for the elderly. Once completed, this centre will provide fantastic support to the residents of Yabassi.
“We would like to thank all of the local officials as well as our partners at RJC for their support.”
This is not the first time Premier Loto and RJC have provided support to the Maison de Nazareth. In 2018 the pair funded a water drinking drill with solar panels. This has enabled the community to get access to clean water and is just one example of Premier Loto’s “Water For All” campaign.
The Water For All campaign was launched in 2018 by Premier Loto and RJC in an attempt to combat water shortage in Cameroon. The campaign has seen drills installed across the country.
The laying of the first stone ceremony was attended by the Littoral Region Governor, the Mayor of Yabassi and other state and religious representatives.
