The first leg of the Champions League knockout phase took place last week and left plenty to play for in the return fixtures. Real Madrid’s last-minute 3-2 win over Manchester City was a classic Champions League encounter, with Los Blancos securing the important winner thanks to Jude Bellingham.
Meanwhile, Bayern Munich travelled to Scotland to face a Celtic side who’d won their last 10 games at home. The Bavarian giants ended that streak with a 2-1 victory before the return leg at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night.
Guinean superstar Serhou Guirassy kept up his unbelievable form in the Champions League this season with his 10th goal of the campaign against Sporting. Guirassy has now had a goal contribution in every Champions League game this season.
Real Madrid vs Man City

The standout tie from this phase of the tournament sees Pep Guardiola’s Man City team travel to Madrid, where they will look to avenge their first-leg defeat. However, despite going ahead twice in the first leg, City succumbed to an eventual defeat which was seemingly inevitable. Their form has been very disappointing in recent months, while Madrid at home will mark a tough test. Real Madrid will go in as favourites, and rightly so, but they’re also vulnerable at the back. Erling Haaland scored in the first leg and made life difficult for Madrid’s defence, but we expect Real Madrid to beat City again and see plenty of goals in the game!
AC Milan vs Feyenoord

Feyernood won the first leg against Milan at De Kuip 1-0, but there’s plenty still to play for in this tie. AC Milan have to win to overturn their first leg defeat and they come up against a Feyenoord team who were statistically among the competition’s worst defences in the group stage. Milan at the San Siro should be too much for the Dutch team and we expect a high scoring encounter, as the teams had a total of 16 shots on goal combined in the first leg.
Bayern Munich vs Celtic

Bayern laid down a marker in the first leg against Celtic playing some high-quality football away from home. They looked strong in the opening fixture, but failed to fully capitalise, scoring just twice. However, they do head into the second leg with an advantage. Vincent Kompany’s side have also scored over 2.5 goals in 9 of their last 10 home matches.
Borussia Dortmund vs Sporting

Serhou Guirassy has been on fire in the Champions League this season and scored the opening goal against Sporting on the hour mark on Tuesday night. This goal made him the Champions League top goalscorer with 10 so far this season, from just 9 games. He’s averaging a goal in the competition every 65 minutes and unless he’s rested for the return leg, expect him to be on the scoresheet again.
PSG vs Brest
🔥Tip – PSG to score over 2.5 goals @ 1.63
This tie is essentially over after PSG’s 3-0 victory over domestic rivals Brest on Tuesday night, but there’s still plenty of value to be had. PSG have an excellent record against Brest, scoring 29 goals in their last 10 games dating back to 2021. PSG are at home in the second leg and should have enough firepower to win this game convincingly.
