Hi gang! Here are my thoughts for the big games this weekend. A few teams have a chance to pull away in the table, so the stakes are high!
Leicester v West Ham – Saturday 27 October – Premier League – BET HERE
Both of these teams could do with a win after back-to-back losses in the league. Leicester looked good in the first half against Arsenal on Monday, but their defence is still susceptible – both teams have scored in seven of their nine league games this season. I expect West Ham’s results to improve soon, but they’ve lost six of their nine matches so far. I have to back the Foxes.
Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Leicester 2 v 1 West Ham
Barcelona v Real Madrid – Sunday 28 October – La Liga – BET HERE
This is going to be an unusual edition of El Clasico. No Cristiano Ronaldo and now no Lionel Messi, who is injured for the tie. There’s been a lot of news surrounding Real Madrid, who ended their winless run with a narrow victory over Viktoria Plzen, but they’ve lost three of their past four away games in all competitions. Let’s not forget that Barcelona were struggling not long ago, but that seems to be behind them following wins over Sevilla and Inter. I expect a Home Win.
Match Tip: Barcelona Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Barcelona 1 v 0 Real Madrid
Napoli v AS Roma – Sunday 28 October – Serie A – BET HERE
Napoli have won eight of their last ten matches in Serie A, including each of the last five at home. They might still be reeling after they conceded an injury time equaliser to PSG, but they’re in good form. Roma are as well, though. They’ve won four of their past five games and Edin Dzeko has six goals in four matches. They won 4-2 at Napoli last season but I think the hosts will take revenge.
Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Napoli 2 v 1 AS Roma
Marseille v PSG – Sunday 28 October – Ligue 1 – BET HERE
It’s now ten out of ten wins in Ligue 1 for PSG, with just the 37 goals so far. It’ll be interesting to see how Marseille will cope having played Lazio on Thursday. They’ve won three of their past five league games, but that run also included heavy defeats to Lyon and Lille. Even though PSG were well below par against Napoli, I expect both teams to raise their game here, and that means an Away Win.
Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Marseille 1 v 3 PSG
Tottenham v Manchester City – Monday 29 October – BET HERE
Just two points separate these teams before kick off, but I think one side are looking much better. Tottenham made a mess of their game against PSV and, even though they’ve won seven of their nine league games, they’ve been underwhelming. City just beat Shakhtar 3-0 and have Kevin De Bruyne back. They beat Spurs twice last year, and I’m going for another 3-1 win at Wembley.
Match Tip: Manchester City Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Tottenham 1 v 3 Manchester City
