Brazil and Venezuela are set to play each other in the Copa America as Brazil hope to win in their second group game. Bet on the match here.

Brazil began their Copa America campaign on a high note with a convincing 3-0 win over Bolivia. Victory against Venezuela would see them get a quarter-final place and that is what they will be going for just that. They have failed to make it past the quarter-finals in the previous three attempts and progression this time will be a must.

Venezuela took a point against Peru on Saturday and they are facing off with Peru and Bolivia to finish second behind Brazil. They will need to up their attacking threat in order to get there since Brazil have demonstrated in the past that they are solid at the back.

Betting preview

Brazil are clearly the dominant side over Venezuela, considering that they have lost only once in 50 years against Venezuela. With 21 wins and one loss, including three consecutive wins in the last three meetings, the Seleceao have lost none of their last ten games. You can back a Brazil win with -1 Handicap at odds of 1.45.

Brazil have scored 15 goals in the last four games in all competitions. Two or more goals have been scored in Brazil’s last five games whilst Over 2.5 Goals have been scored in four of Venezuela’s last five games. Backing Over 2.5 Goals for a odds of 1.50 looks really attractive.

Brazil have gone for eight matches without conceding a single goal in their last ten fixtures. Venezuela are not the most prolific team as they struggled to score against Peru. You can bet on Both Teams to Score No at odds of 1.50.

Team news

Douglas Costa, Danilo, Fabinho, Marcelo and Neymar are the great absentees on the Brazilian side. Arthur Melo and Marquinhos remain uncertain for this meeting.

Luis Mago will be absent for Venezuela after receiving a red card in the match against Peru.
