Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City look to take another big step towards the title as they host Leicester City at the Etihad in a crucial meeting. With only two matches remaining in a title race for the ages, City must win this match to reclaim top spot from challengers Liverpool. Here’s the Big Game Focus with some betting tips and team news. Bet on the game here.

Manchester City can take another significant step towards retaining the Premier League title when they host Leicester City in their second-last game of the season. With Liverpool winning their match in dramatic fashion on Saturday, City must match that and reclaim top spot. City are currently second on 92 points while their closest challengers Liverpool are top with 94 points.

Leicester City will want a repeat of the first leg when they inflicted a 2-1 defeat on the rampant champions in December. Although they hammered Arsenal 3-0 last season, playing City away will be a completely different story.

Betting preview

Pep Guardiola’s side have won their last 12 league games on the trot. They’ve also won 30 of their 36 games in the league. City have ended the first half leading 1-0 at the break in 33 per cent of their home games this season, while the visitors have been trailing 1-0 at the break in 39 per cent. Therefore, you can back a First Half Home Win at odds of 1.55.

In their last seven fixtures, both these teams have found the back of the net in all but one match. Therefore odds of 1.75 for Both Teams to Score look attractive.

Sergio Aguero has scored five goals in six appearances against the Foxes, including four in last season’s home match against the 2015/2016 league champions. Therefore you can back Sergio Aguero as Anytime Goalscorer at odds of 1.60.

Team news

Kevin De Bruyne remains absent for Man City with a hamstring problem and fellow key midfielder Fernandinho is also a major fitness doubt.

Brendan Rodgers has no fresh injury concerns following the win against Arsenal last weekend, meaning that he is without only Daniel Amartey and Matty James.

Possible line-ups

Man City: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Laporte, Zinchenko, Bernardo, Gundogan, D.Silva, Sterling, Aguero, Sane

Leicester: Schmeichel, Pereira, Evans, Maguire, Chilwell, Albrighton, Tielemans, Ndidi, Choudhury, Maddison; Vardy
