Manchester United’s International Champions Cup encounter with Inter Milan in Singapore could be a little spicier than other pre-season fixtures. The Nerazzurri, now managed by former Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, have been eyeing a possible deal for Red Devils striker Romelu Lukaku. Both have made positive starts to the pre-season campaigns but who will come out on top? Bet on the game here.

This match against the Italians will be United’s third warm-up match, following games against Perth Glory and Leeds in Australia, which resulted in two wins. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been trying to integrate two new signings Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, whilst also challenging the old guard to take their game to the next level.

It is the new era of Conte at Inter now. With Champions League secured and a strong squad and a few additions before the window closes, things are not looking bad for the Nerazzurri. The Red Devils have dominated them in their last few meetings but an entertaining game is in store.

Betting preview

United have dominated this fixture in the past. They’re unbeaten against Inter in their last three meetings. United have also been impressive in their first two pre-season games where they scored six goals. Therefore, you can back a Manchester United Win at odds of 2.10.

Both teams have also scored three goals or more in their last matches. The quality of players who will be on show means that a high scoring game is possible. Therefore, you can back Over 2.5 Goals to be scored at odds of 1.70.

International Champions Cup games have a tendency to be quite open. Both teams have scored in all their pre-season matches and since it is a friendly match, an entertaining end-to-end clash is on the cards. Therefore, you can back Both Teams to Score at odds of 1.60.

Team news

David De Gea and Lukaku might sit this clash out. Ole has a full squad to choose from with Fred and Matteo Darmian expected to join the team soon.

Inter’s new acquisition Valentino Lazaro has withdrawn from the club’s training in Singapore after it was revealed that the Austrian international is suffering from a muscular strain in his right thigh.
