Monaco and PSG clash for the second time in three days for this rearranged Ligue 1 fixture. The Big Game Focus looks at the latest news, team line-ups and betting tips for the match. Bet on Monaco v PSG here.

These two meet each other again having played out am enthralling 3-3 draw just a few days ago, after this match was postponed earlier in the season. Another thriller could well be on the cards tonight, with talent like Neymar, Kyliann Mbappe and Wissam Ben Yedder on show.

Monaco have turned around a season that started in turbulent fashion, which eventually resulted in the sacking of returning manager Leonardo Jardim. His replacement, Robert Moreno, has overseen a win in the cup and the recent draw against today’s opponent.

For PSG, it’s business as usual. They are five points clear at the top of Ligue 1, with this game in hand, and they will surely be lifting a seventh league title in eight seasons come May. Can Monaco put a dent in that ambition?

Betting tips

It’s usually a goal bonanza when these two meet and Both Teams to Score looks like a credible bet to put in your slip. Monaco have scored and conceded in their last three games, whilst the same is true for PSG in four of their last five matches. The last two meetings ended 3-3 and 3-1. Both Teams to Score is available at odds of 1.40.

If goals are on the menu, Over 2.5 Goals simply won’t cut it. Over 3.5 Goals has occurred in the last five meetings between these two, with some truly eye catching score lines, including a 7-1 PSG win back in April 2018. Over 3.5 Goals could be a valuable money maker at odds of 1.65.

Neymar is a man with fire in his heart right now. He suffered over the summer and there were moments when the PSG fans didn’t want the Brazilian. How times have changed. How he has proved those doubters wrong. The Samba superstar has scored in seven consecutive games, the latest a double against today’s opponents. He has netted four goals in three appearances against Monaco and their defenders could well be having another nightmare on the Rue du Commandant Guilbaud this evening. The odds for Neymar to score are currently 1.90.

Team news

Moreno should play the same team as at the last meeting. Aleksandr Golovin, who posed many problems to PSG, will play an offensive role, whilst Ben Yedder, who scored and assisted on Sunday, will hope to be amongst the goals again.

Thomas Tuchel meanwhile could make several changes to his defensive line. Thomas Meunier and Juan Bernat could give way to Colin Dagba and Layvin Kurzawa, just like Marquinhos who could also be put on the bench, thus opening the way for Presnel Kimpembe.

Possible line-ups

AS Monaco: Lecomte; Henrichs, Maripan, Glik, Ballo-Toure; Aguilar, Fabregas, Bakayoko,
