There will be a huge fixture in the Dutch Eredivisie featuring PSV and Ajax, here is a detailed look at the fixture with possible tips on favourable outcomes.

PSV found the going too tough at the Camp Nou in midweek in the Champions League, but their form in the Eredivisie has been perfect so far this season. They will face their real test of the season when they host arch-rivals Ajax on Sunday.

The visitors are also on a good run of form domestically, having dropped points only once this season in their opening day fixture that ended in a stalemate. Their latest exploit saw them emerge victorious with a 3-0 win in the Champions League over Greece side AEK.

This should make for a very exciting fixture considering these are the two top clubs in the Dutch top flight.

Betting Preview

The two sides are very attack-minded and it should come as no surprise that PSV have seen Over 2. 5 Goals in all their last five outings in the league. The same is true in four of Ajax’s last five fixtures and therefore you can back Over 2.5 Goals at odds of 1.55 here.

PSV are the only Eredivisie side still with a 100% record after five games, and they have been defensively solid too. Ajax will be out to prove a point but there is a very strong likelihood that home advantage will play a huge part. Odds of 2.50 for a Home Win look extremely attractive for this one.

Four of the last five matches between these two clubs have ended in a win to nil, the same has been witnessed in three of the host’s last five and in all of the visitors last five. You can back Both Teams to Score No at odds of 2.35 here.

Team news

PSV’s Dante Rigo, Maximiliano Romero, and Ryan Thomas have injury concerns and they are all expected to miss out on this fixture.

Ajax for their part could be without a number of first-team players as Noa Lang, Azor Matusiwa, Daley Sinkgraven, Zakaria El Azzouzi, Boureima Bandé, and Joel Veltman are all either suffering from or in the process of recovering from injuries.

Possible lineups

PSV: Zoet, Dumfries, Schwaab, Viergerver, Angelino, Hendrix, Rosario, Lozano, Pereiro, Bergwijn, Jong.

Ajax: Onana, Mazraoui, Ligt, Blind, Tagliafico, Schone, Jong, Ziyech, Neres, Tadic, Huntelaar.
