Liverpool v Manchester City betting tips from Mr. Predictor

Hi everyone, the weekend is here, which means we have some betting tips! Liverpool v Manchester City is the clear highlight, but I’ve also looked at some other big teams across Europe. Let’s try and win some bets!

Manchester United v Newcastle – Saturday 6 October – Premier League – BET HERE

It’s now four games without a win for Manchester United after their goalless draw with Valencia on Tuesday, which was the third match in a row at Old Trafford that finished level. Luckily for them, Newcastle have lost six and won none of their eight games this season, and haven’t scored in their past two matches. The Red Devils won this fixture last season, and I have to back them again.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score No
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Manchester United 2 v 0 Newcastle

Liverpool v Manchester City – Sunday 7 October – Premier League – BET HERE

These teams are joint top of the Premier League ahead of the weekend, so the result could go a long way to deciding the title. Liverpool have scored 27 goals in their last ten home games, winning eight, but City have won four games in a row, including three away from home. However, the visitors have lost their past six games at Anfield and, since Pep Guardiola arrived, he has lost four of his six matches against the Reds. I fancy Liverpool’s home advantage to bring them a win.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Liverpool 2 v 1 Manchester City

Benfica v Porto – Sunday 7 October – Primeira Liga – BET HERE

Benfica ended their losing streak in the Champions League when they beat AEK Athens on Tuesday, and they’re unbeaten in the Primeira Liga this season. That said, they haven’t beaten Porto since 2014, and the visitors are one point above Benfica with five wins and one loss so far. Under 2.5 Goals have been scored in eight of the last ten meetings between these sides, so I’m backing a low-scoring Draw.

Match Tip: Under 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Benfica 1 v 1 Porto

Valencia v Barcelona – Sunday 7 October – La Liga – BET HERE

Tuesday’s result at Manchester United was typical of Valencia, who have now drawn six of their eight games this season. They’ve scored just five times, but their defence has only shipped eight goals so far. Barcelona have failed to win any of their last three league games, but they’ve beaten Los Che in four of their past five encounters, so I’m going for an Away Win here.

Match Tip: Under 3.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Valencia 0 v 1 Barcelona

PSG v Lyon – Sunday 7 October – Ligue 1 – BET HERE

What is there to say about PSG?! They’ve won all eight of their league games so far this season, which is unsurprising when you consider that they’ve scored at least three times in all of those matches. Lyon are improving after a slow start but they’ve only won one of their three away league games and their midweek draw with Shakhtar Donetsk wasn’t ideal preparation. A Home Win for me.

Match Tip: PSG Win and Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: PSG 3 v 1 Lyon
