There are some big matches this week! Click here to bet on my tips.
Tottenham 1 v 2 Ajax – Tuesday 30 April – Champions League – Both Teams to Score (1.65)
I doubt that many people thought these teams would get to the semi-finals this season! It’ll be tough for Spurs, who will be missing Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min. They looked tired in their weekend defeat to West Ham as well. Ajax have had longer to rest and have only lost once in the competition this season. Since they’ve already won at Real Madrid and Juventus, I’m going to back Ajax here.
Barcelona 2 v 1 Liverpool – Wednesday 1 May – Champions League – Barcelona Win (1.85)
Both of these teams are in incredible form right now, but this is the first leg so I don’t expect either team to go all out in attack. Barca have won 23 of their last 25 home games in the Champions League, and Lionel Messi has 12 goals in his last ten games at the Nou Camp. Liverpool are on a ten game winning streak but they’ve lost five of their last seven Champions League games outside of Anfield. I think that home form will count here, though.
Arsenal 1 v 1 Valencia – Thursday 2 May – Europa League – Both Teams to Score (1.75)
Arsenal have lost three games in a row but they have been good in Europe this season. They’ve won seven of their last ten games in the Europa League and are usually strong at the Emirates. Valencia aren’t in great form either. Even though they’re unbeaten in the Europa League this season, they’ve lost their last two games. I can see this ending in a Draw.
Eintracht Frankfurt 2 v 1 Chelsea – Thursday 2 May – Europa League – Double Chance Frankfurt (1.50)
This is a tough game for Chelsea. Frankfurt have won nine of their 12 Europa League games this season and came back from 4-2 down against Benfica. I’ve not been impressed by Chelsea lately. They have lost six of their 12 away games in 2019 and they needed a goalkeeping error to get a draw with Man United. I think this will be a Home Win.
Everton 2 v 1 Burnley – Friday 3 May – Premier League – Everton Win (1.60)
Everton’s results have improved lately. They have won three of their last five games and kept a clean sheet in seven of their last ten games. This is another difficult task for Burnley after their last two matches against Man City and Chelsea. They defended really well in those matches, but they lost 5-1 to the Toffees earlier this season and I expect the same result here.
