Mr. Predictor gives betting advice for Man United v Liverpool

What’s up everyone? The domestic football leagues around Europe are back, including the mighty Premier League! Here are my betting tips for the next two days. You can bet on them here.

Borussia Dortmund 2 v 2 Borussia Monchengladbach – Saturday 19 October – Over 2.5 Goals

Borussia Dortmund seemed to start the season in style but somewhere along the line things have dropped off. They now sit eighth in the table, although they are just four points behind today’s visitors, who are sitting pretty at the top of the Bundesliga. This game should be extremely entertaining. Goals have been raining down every time Dortmund have played. There have been Over 3.5 Goals in their last seven Bundesliga games! Woah! Over 2.5 Goals has won in four of the last five Gladbach games, so I see no reason why it can’t happen today. Considering we can see talented forwards Paco Alcácer and Alassane Pléa on show, I’m backing another goal fest.

Atletico Madrid 1 v 0 Valencia – Saturday 19 October – Under 2.5 Goals

This is a big game in Spain between two traditional giants. Atletico’s recent La Liga form has not been good enough, with two draws in a row. They still sit third though and a win today could see them gain ground on the front two, who contest El Clasico next week. Valencia though are picking up, as they won their last two league games. Whatever happens today, I don’t see many goals. Under 2.5 Goals has won five times in a row for Diego Simeone’s men in the league, whilst it’s three out of five for Valencia. They also don’t have a history of exciting games, as three of the last five meetings had less than three goals. Let’s pray for a boring one today!

Bournemouth 3 v 1 Norwich – Saturday 19 October – Home Win

Eddie Howe must be looking at this game as three points. His Bournemouth team are inconsistent at the moment but their home form is ok. They have only lost one game in five Premier League matches at their own ground. Norwich meanwhile have been poor since beating Man City. The Canaries have played five away matches in all competitions this season and lost all of them. To make matters worse they have only scored once in that time and failed to hit the back of the net in their last four away games. Having said that, Daniel Farke must think this is a chance to get a game away from home, as the Cherries have conceded in nine consecutive league games. This should be a fun game that ends in a home win.

Sassuolo 2 v 2 Inter Milan – Sunday 20 October – Over 2.5 Goals

At a quick glance you would say this is a game for Inter Milan to win easily. They are second in the table, fighting for the Serie A title, whilst Sassuolo are down in 15th. However, Inter’s record against these guys is poor. They have lost four of their last five against Sassuolo and since 2015 they have lost to today’s opponent seven times! Over 2.5 Goals is my bet for this one. It has been a winner in five of Sassuolo’s last six games and in two of Inter’s last three away games.

Manchester United 0 v 2 Liverpool – Sunday 20 October – Liverpool Win

The biggest game in the English football calendar is upon us! It’s really hard to see how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side can get anything from this game. If Liverpool win, they will equal a Premier League record of 18 consecutive wins. That is held by their title rivals Manchester City, and I’m sure Jurgen Klopp would love to match it against the red side of Manchester. Having said that, the Red Devils, despite poor form, will be amped up to stop their greatest rival break any sort of records, and they would love to be the first team to take points off of the team from Anfield. Let’s face it though, there is only one winner today. Liverpool will march on.
