Mr. Predictor gives his opinion on the Premier League and La Liga matches

This week I’m looking at matches in the Premier League and La Liga. Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid all face tough away games, and Tottenham will play their first game in their new stadium. You can bet on my tips here.

Watford 2 v 1 Fulham – Tuesday 2 April – Premier League – Watford Win (1.60)

This is a rare home game for Watford. They’ve played 15 games in 2019, and only four have been at Vicarage Road. They’ve won the last three of those though, and I can’t see anything but another victory here. Fulham will be relegated if they don’t get all three points, but they’ve lost 14 of their 16 away league games this season. I’m backing a Home Win.

Wolves 1 v 1 Man United – Tuesday 2 April – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.85)

Wolves are playing in the FA Cup semi-finals on Sunday but I don’t expect Nuno Espirito Santo to rest many players, especially after they lost at Burnley on Saturday. They’re unbeaten in their last seven games at home though, including a 2-1 win against United in the FA Cup. The Red Devils have lost their last two away matches, and I think this could be tough for them.

Villarreal 1 v 2 Barcelona – Tuesday 2 April – La Liga – Both Teams to Score (1.55)

It’s been a bad season for Villarreal and things could still get worse. They’re 17th in La Liga and are up against leaders Barcelona, who have won seven games in a row in all competitions. They have also won ten of their 14 away games in La Liga this season and haven’t lost to Villarreal since 2008! I’m going for an Away Win here, but I think the hosts can score.

Tottenham 3 v 1 Crystal Palace – Wednesday 3 April – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.80)

This is the first game at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and I expect Spurs to be really motivated. They haven’t won any of their last five league games and have kept just one clean sheet in their last ten league games. Palace have manged to score in all of their 15 matches in 2019, but Spurs showed signs of improvement against Liverpool and I think they have the quality to win.

Valencia 2 v 2 Real Madrid – Wednesday 3 April – La Liga – Both Teams to Score (1.55)

Valencia are up to sixth after they beat Sevilla and they’re now unbeaten in their last 16 games. They’ve only actually twice at home this season in all competitions, so Real have their work cut out here. They’ve only won two of their last five games at the Mestalla and haven’t been convincing lately. They needed a late goal to beat Huesca on Sunday and I get the feeling that it will take time for Zinedine Zidane to change their fortunes. I’m going for a Draw.
