There are some great games coming up this week. Here are my thoughts on the matches in the Champions League, plus Arsenal’s crucial match against BATE Borisov.
Liverpool v Bayern Munich – Tuesday 19 February – Champions League – BET HERE
I’m really excited for this game! Liverpool have only lost once at Anfield this season and have won their last five Champions League games at home. They have also had ten days to prepare for this game, which is very useful for them because they have played a lot of matches recently. Bayern are unbeaten in the Champions League this season but they’ve not been convincing, which is why I’m going for a Liverpool Win.

Lyon v Barcelona – Tuesday 19 February – Champions League – BET HERE
Lyon were unbeaten in the group stage, but five of their six games were draws. I should also point out that they scored and conceded in all six of those matches. Barcelona’s have not been great recently. They have only won two of their last five away games. They have also only won three of their last ten away games in the Champions League. I predict a Draw.

Atletico Madrid v Juventus – Wednesday 20 February – Champions League – BET HERE
Atletico have been very strong at home this season, losing just once there in all competitions. They’ve only lost there one game there. One man they hate playing against, however, is Cristiano Ronaldo. He scored 22 times against them when he was at Real. His new team Juventus have four of their last five away games in the Champions League. I’m going for a Draw on Wednesday.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Atletico Madrid 1 v 1 Juventus
Schalke v Manchester City – Wednesday 20 February – Champions League – BET HERE
Schalke only conceded four goals in the group stage, but their opponents were nowhere near as good as Manchester City. The Premier League leaders won four of their six games in the group stage and are in great form right now. Their last 11 games in the Champions League have all had Over 2.5 Goals, and I’m backing the same bet along with a City win.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Schalke 0 v 3 Manchester City
Arsenal v BATE Borisov – Thursday 21 February – Europa League – BET HERE
This is a really big game for Arsenal. They lost the first leg 1-0 last week, so they have to win this match by two goals. They’ve won four of their last five games at the Emirates and three of those wins have been on the -1 handicap. The Gunners also beat BATE 6-0 at home last season. I think they will concede a goal, but I expect Unai Emery’s side to reach the next round.
