Mr. Predictor looks at the Champions League last 16 matches

Hi gang! I’m looking at the second legs in the Champions League ties this week, and I’m expecting plenty of goals. Click here if you want to back my tips.

Dortmund 1 v 1 Tottenham – Tuesday 5 March – Champions League – Both Teams to Score (1.55)

It’s going to be hard for Dortmund to come back after they lost 3-0 in the first leg. They’ve only won one of their last five matches and haven’t kept a clean sheet in any of their last six home games. However, Tottenham haven’t won any of their last three games but are unbeaten in their last five Champions League games. I’m going for a Draw.

Real Madrid 2 v 1 Ajax – Tuesday 5 March – Champions League – Over 2.5 Goals (1.40)

This tie is far from over. Real left it late in the first leg to win 2-1, but Ajax created plenty of chances. Los Blancos have also lost three of their last five matches, although I should point out that two of those were against Barcelona. Ajax have had a break since they didn’t play at the weekend and I think they’ll score here, but I still have to back a Home Win.

PSG 3 v 1 Man United – Wednesday 6 March – Champions League – Both Teams to Score (1.70)

PSG have won all five of their games since they beat United in the first leg, and it’s hard to bet against them right now. They’ve won 18 of their 20 home games this season and they’re not missing Neymar or Edinson Cavani, as Kylian Mbappe has seven goals in his last five games. United have won three of their four games since the first leg and have claimed some big away wins since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge. I’m still going for a Home Win though.

Porto 2 v 1 AS Roma – Wednesday 6 March – Champions League – Over 2.5 Goals (1.70)

Roma won 2-1 in first leg but their away form is really poor. They’ve only won three of their last ten away games and they’ve lost four of their past five away games in Europe. Porto lost to Benfica at the weekend but they’ve been solid at home in the Champions League. They’ve won four of their last five European games at the Estadio do Dragao, so I’ll back them here.

Eintracht Frankfurt 2 v 1 Inter Milan – Thursday 7 March – Europa League – Over 2.5 Goals (2.00)

This is a tough game for Inter. They lost at Cagliari on Friday, which means they’ve gone two games without a win. Frankfurt, meanwhile, have won seven of their eight Europa League games this season and have won their last three games overall, scoring ten goals. I expect more goals here, as Over 2.5 Goals has happened in Inter’s last four matches, and I’ll back a Home Win.
