Hello gang! Last week all ten of my Match Tips on this blog were winners! I hope you were following me. Here are my thoughts for the midweek games. You can bet on these games here.

RB Salzburg 2 v 3 Liverpool – Tuesday 10 December – Champions League – Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals

This is going to be a great game. Liverpool, the reigning champions, will be eliminated if they lose. They are unbeaten in their last 17 games in all competitions, but Salzburg have given reasons to scare the Reds. The Austrian side have not lost any of their last nine matches and have already managed 16 goals in their five group games so far. In contrast, Liverpool have scored 11 times. The champions came out on top when these teams met in October, but Salzburg scored three goals. I think Liverpool will do enough to win, but Salzburg will not make it easy.

Inter Milan 1 v 1 Barcelona – Tuesday 10 December – Champions League – Both Teams to Score

Inter Milan have to match Dortmund’s result against Slavia Prague to qualify for the next round, which realistically means a win. Antonio Conte has done exceptionally well since he joined in the summer and he has the Nerazzurri top of the Serie A. Barcelona are guaranteed first place in Group F, having not lost any group games to date. They have won five games in a row and I’m backing a Draw here. My bet will be Both Teams to Score, which has been a winning bet in four of Inter’s five group games this season and three of their last five games against Barcelona.

Lyon 2 v 2 RB Leipzig – Tuesday 10 December – Champions League – Both Teams to Score

Lyon’s struggles to find consistency have cost them in this group phase. They now have to better Zenit St. Petersburg’s result against Benfica if they are to reach the last 16. The good news for them is that they are unbeaten in their last seven home games in the Champions League; however, six of those have been draws. RB Leipzig, who have already qualified, are in great form with eight wins in their last ten games. They’ve only kept a clean sheet in two of those games though, so Both Teams to Score would be a good bet here. I see another Draw in Lyon.

Bayern Munich 3 v 1 Tottenham – Wednesday 11 December – Champions League – Over 3.5 Goals

Bayern Munich are already certain to be top of the group and have the chance to finish the group stage with a 100% record. They have scored 21 goals so far, seven of which came against Tottenham in October. Both sides have changed managers since then, and Tottenham are looking strong under Jose Mourinho. They have won four of their first five games since he arrived, with Over 3.5 Goals in four of those games. There have also been Over 3.5 Goals in all of their Champions League games this season. I see more goals here, and I’ll go with Bayern to win.

Standard Liege 2 v 2 Arsenal – Thursday 12 October – Europa League -Both Teams to Score

It’s been a dreadful season for Arsenal, but they will be through to the next round unless they lose by five goals here. Surely they can manage that? Liege either need to get that huge victory or win and hope that Frankfurt don’t beat Guimaraes. The Belgian side are unbeaten in their last five games and will be more confident than the Gunners, so I don’t expect another 4-0 defeat like they suffered in October. My Match Tip is Both Teams to Score, which has won in the last three Europa League games for both of these sides.
