The international fixtures are back, and there are some big nations in action on Thursday and Friday. Here are my tips.

France v Iceland – Thursday 11 October – Friendly – BET HERE

Les Bleus are unbeaten in their past ten matches, with seven wins and three draws. The world champions have also won three of their last five friendlies on home soil and should be too strong for Iceland, who are on a four-game losing streak. The visitors were beaten 6-0 and 3-0 by Switzerland and Belgium respectively last month, so I have to back a high-scoring Home Win.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: France 3 v 0 Iceland

Cameroon v Malawi – Friday 12 October – AFCON Qualifiers – BET HERE

Cameroon need a win here after that disappointing draw away at Comoros in their last game. Luckily they’ll be at home this time, as they’ve won nine of their last ten home qualifiers. Malawi have lost seven of their past ten AFCON qualifiers away from home and have only scored three times in that run. It’s a narrow Home Win here.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score No
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Cameroon 1 v 0 Malawi

Guinea v Rwanda – Friday 12 October – AFCON Qualifiers – BET HERE

I fancy Guinea to take all three points here. They’ve won four of their past five AFCON qualifiers and have conceded in just one of their last five qualifiers at home. Meanwhile, Amavubi have suffered defeat in the three of their last five qualifiers, so they’re not in form to spring a surprise. I’m going for a Home Win.

Match Tip: Guinea Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Guinea 1 v 0 Rwanda

Belgium v Switzerland – Friday 12 October – Nations League – BET HERE

Both of these teams strolled to comfortable wins against Iceland in their maiden Nations League matches, so it’s all to play for here. Having come third at the World Cup, Belgium have won nine of their last ten games, seven of which have featured Over 2.5 Goals, which I’m backing here. The Swiss put six past Iceland last month but this is a much tougher test, which I don’t think they’ll pass.

Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Belgium 2 v 1 Switzerland

Croatia v England – Friday 12 October – Nations League – BET HERE

These sides are both on zero points so far in their Nations League campaign and need to avoid defeat here. World Cup finalists Croatia fell to an embarrassing 6-0 defeat at the hands of Spain, although they’ve won nine of their last ten matches on home soil. The Three Lions are out for revenge after their loss in the World Cup semi-finals, but they’ve only won two of their past seven games in 90 minutes. I see a Draw here.

Match Tip: Under 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Croatia 1 v 1 England
