Tottenham v Chelsea – Tuesday 8 January – EFL Cup – BET HERE

Tottenham are in great form right now. They’ve won 12 of their last 15 games in all competitions and have scored 22 goals in their last five matches. Chelsea returned to winning ways with victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday in the FA Cup and they’ve won their last three away games. The last four derbies between these sides have all had both teams score, as have Chelsea’s last ten away games in the League Cup. I have to go for the same here, and I’m backing another win for Spurs.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score (Odds: 1.60)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Tottenham 2 v 1 Chelsea

Manchester City v Burton Albion – Wednesday 9 January – EFL Cup – BET HERE

Holders Manchester City needed penalties to beat Leicester in the last round but they were a different class on Sunday when they beat Rotherham 7-0 in the FA Cup. Burton Albion are ninth in League One and warmed up with a 4-0 win at Rochdale on Saturday. However, City have a history of big wins in the semi-finals, and I think they’ll get the job done in the first leg.

Match Tip: Over 3.5 Goals (Odds: 1.65)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Manchester City 4 v 0 Burton Albion

Girona v Atletico Madrid – Wednesday 9 January – Copa del Rey – BET HERE

This is tough to call. Girona are winless in their last four games, but they’re unbeaten in their last five at home. Atletico are on a run of 14 games without defeat across all competitions, but they have drawn four of last their past five away games. All three previous meetings of these sides have ended in a draw and I wouldn’t be surprised if this one goes the same way.

Match Tip: Both Teams to Score (Odds: 2.15)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Girona 1 v 1 Atletico

Levante v Barcelona – Thursday 10 January – Copa del Rey – BET HERE

It’s no wins in four matches for Levante, which isn’t great news ahead of this game. Barcelona have won seven of their last ten away games and have beaten Levante on the handicap in eight of their past ten meetings. That run includes a 5-0 win last month and, even though the Catalans lost here last season, I still expect a routine Away Win.

Match Tip: Barcelona Win with -1 Handicap (Odds: 1.75)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Levante 0 v 3 Barcelona
