The Premier League is back this weekend and there’s a great game at the top of the table. There are some big games in Serie A, and La Liga leaders Barcelona are in action too. Sounds great! You can back my tips here.
Barcelona 3 v 1 Espanyol – Saturday 30 March – La Liga – Barcelona Win with 0:1 Handicap (1.50)
It’s looking as though Barcelona are going to stroll to the title again. They’ve won 13 of their last 15 league games, leaving them ten points above Atletico. Espanyol have drawn three of their last five league games but they’ve only got one away win all season and I can’t see them doing much here. Barcelona beat them 4-0 in December and I expect another straightforward win for the champions.
West Ham 2 v 1 Everton – Saturday 30 March – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.60)
Everton beat Chelsea in their last match and will be full of confidence, but they’ve lost seven of their last ten away games overall. More worryingly, their only away wins since October have been against teams in the current bottom four. West Ham came back from 3-1 down to beat Huddersfield in their last match, and they’ve won their last two games against the Toffees. I see a Home Win.
AS Roma 1 v 1 Napoli – Sunday 31 March – Serie A – Both Teams to Score (1.60)
This season is threatening to unravel for Roma, who have lost three of their last four games. However, they are unbeaten in their last nine games at the Stadio Olimpico. Napoli have won on their last two visits to Roma but they’ve only got three wins from their last ten away games overall. It’s tough to call a winner, but Both Teams to Score has happened in four of the last five meetings. That’s my tip.
Liverpool 2 v 1 Tottenham – Sunday 31 March – Premier League – Liverpool Win (1.60)
This is a big game for the Reds, who are top at start of weekend but have played a game more than Manchester City. They’re on a roll at the moment, having not lost in 12 matches, and they’ve won 12 of their last 15 games at Anfield. It’s not going so well for Spurs. They’re still third in the standings but they’ve lost three of their last four games in the Premier League and have lost five of their last six away games in all competitions. I’m backing a Home Win here.
Inter Milan 2 v 1 Lazio – Sunday 31 March – Serie A – Over 2.5 Goals (1.90)
Inter’s last match was a memorable one as they beat neighbours AC Milan 3-2. They’re now third in Serie A and we’re starting to see more goals in their matches. Four of their last five league games have had Over 2.5 Goals. Lazio have only won two of their last ten away games in all competitions and haven’t won any of their last five games against the Nerazzurri in 90 minutes. I say a Home Win.
