We’re back to league football this weekend. Here are my thoughts.
Lille v Lyon – Saturday 1 December – Ligue 1 – BET HERE
It’s now three games without a win for Lille, although they have only failed to take all three points in one of their seven home games this season. Lyon are one point above the hosts in the standings and come into this game on the back of an impressive draw with Man City. They’ve only lost once in their past 15 matches, and I think they’ll avoid defeat here too.
Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals (Odds: 1.80)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Lille 2 v 2 Lyon
Fiorentina v Juventus – Saturday 1 December – Serie A – BET HERE
What a run Fiorentina are on! They’ve drawn five games in a row in Serie A with Under 2.5 Goals in all of those, but they’re unbeaten at home this season. I expect that to change on Saturday, though. Juventus have won 16 of their 18 games this season in all competitions and have beaten the Viola in seven of their past ten meetings. I think Fiorentina’s streak of draws is coming to an end.

Arsenal v Tottenham – Sunday 2 December – Premier League – BET HERE
It’s time for the North London Derby! Tottenham have only lost one of their last five matches against the Gunners but that was last season at the Emirates, where they haven’t won since 2010. Arsenal are also currently unbeaten in 11 league games and have only lost five of their last 50 home matches. That said, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won seven of their eight away games this season. Considering both teams’ impressive form, I’m going to back a Draw.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Arsenal 1 v 1 Tottenham
Liverpool v Everton – Sunday 2 December – Premier League – BET HERE
Everton haven’t had a great deal of joy lately in the Merseyside Derby. They haven’t beaten Liverpool since 2010, although they did take a point in both league meetings last season. However, the hosts are unbeaten in the Premier League so far and have won eight of their last ten league games at Anfield, conceding once. I have to go for a Home Win, but I think the Reds will have to work for it.
Match Tip: 2nd Half With Most Goals (Odds: 2.05)
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Liverpool 2 v 0 Everton
AS Roma v Inter Milan – Sunday 2 December – Serie A – BET HERE
Roma are in somewhat of a slump right now. They have lost their last two games without scoring and are down to seventh in Serie A after just one win in five. Inter, on the other hand, are third and have won eight of their past ten league games. I expect to see both teams score here as it’s happened in all of their last five meetings, and I’m going for the scores to finish level.
