Hello gang! My focus is on the Premier League this weekend, but there are also intriguing fixtures in Italy and France. Bet on the weekend football here.

Crystal Palace 1 v 1 Arsenal – Saturday 11 January – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.65)

Arsenal have won both of their matches so far in 2020 and they’ll need to keep that form going if they’re to salvage anything from this campaign. They are tenth in the Premier League, having conceded 30 goals. Palace are one point above the Gunners and have only lost one of their last eight league games. They haven’t lost any of their last three games against Arsenal, who themselves have just three away wins this season in all competitions (and only one since September). I think a Draw looks likely.

Wolves 2 v 0 Newcastle – Saturday 11 January – Premier League – Wolves Win (1.45)

After a slow start, Wolves are looking like the same formidable side that I enjoyed last season. They’re looking particularly strong at Molineux, where they have lost just one of their last ten games in all competitions and beat Manchester City in their last league game there. Newcastle, in contrast, have lost four of their last five league games, while they only managed a draw with Rochdale in the FA Cup last Saturday. These sides drew 1-1 at St. James’ Park in October but I expect a Home Win this time.

Lazio 3 v 1 Napoli – Saturday 11 January – Serie A – Over 2.5 Goals (1.55)

It’s as though the winter break never happened for Lazio. They won their first game back last weekend, which means they have put together nine victories in a row in the Serie A. They are the second highest-scoring team in the Serie A, too, so it’s no surprise that their last 12 league games have all witnessed Over 2.5 Goals. Napoli have only won one of their last ten league games and I can’t expect them to get anything from this one. There have been Over 2.5 Goals in six of those ten games, too – that’s my bet here.

Tottenham 1 v 2 Liverpool – Saturday 11 January – Premier League – Liverpool Win (1.70)

Can Liverpool keep their winning run going? The Reds have won 11 games in a row in the Premier League and haven’t even conceded in the last five. They’re facing a Tottenham side that have only won one of their last five games in all competitions. Jose Mourinho’s side aren’t faring much better in the league, where their record stands at two wins in five games and, to make matters worse, Harry Kane is injured. Considering Spurs have lost all of their last four games against Liverpool, I have to back an Away Win.

PSG 4 v 0 AS Monaco – Sunday 12 January – Ligue 1 – PSG Win with 0:1 Handicap (1.55)

A few years ago this was one of the biggest games in France, but things have changed since then. PSG are seven points clear at the top of Ligue 1 and have won their last eight games in all competitions – all on the handicap. Monaco are seventh and new manager Robert Moreno has overseen wins in his first two games. However, his side have a dreadful record against PSG. They have lost all of the last eight meetings and conceded 34 times! I can only see a comfortable Home Win.
