Nigeria v Argentina – Tuesday 26 June – World Cup – BET HERE
The Super Eagles beat Iceland convincingly in their last game thanks to two goals from Ahmed Musa. They will go through to the knockout stages with victory here, or if they draw and Iceland don't win by two or more goals. Argentina have to get three points, and they haven’t exited at the group stage since 2002. These sides have met four times at the World Cup, with Argentina winning all four. However, Nigeria beat them 4-2 in a friendly last year, and I fancy them to get a Draw here.
Match Tip: Under 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Nigeria 1 v 1 Argentina
South Korea v Germany – Wednesday 27 June – World Cup – BET HERE
They haven’t been at their best lately, but victory for Germany could put them through to the next round. They’ve only won four of their last ten matches, although South Korea haven’t won any of their last eight games at the World Cup and have lost twice so far in Russia. Even though they’ve not looked great, I’m backing a comfortable win for Germany.
Match Tip: Germany Win with -1 Handicap
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: South Korea 1 v 3 Germany
Japan v Poland – Thursday 28 June – World Cup – BET HERE
Japan came from behind twice against Senegal on Sunday to draw and are now on four points. They could top Group H if they win, and on form that looks likely. Poland have lost both of their matches without creating many chances. In fact, they’ve lost eight of their last ten games at the World Cup, so I have to back Japan.
Match Tip: Japan Win
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Japan 1 v 0 Poland
Senegal v Colombia - Thursday 28 June – World Cup – BET HERE
This is a huge game for the Lions of Teranga. Senegal led twice against Japan but couldn't hold on, and that could cost them here. Colombia beat Poland easily and looked very strong with James Rodriguez and Yerry Mina in the side. A win for the South Americans would put them in the next round, while Senegal only need a draw. However, I’m going with a Colombia win.
Match Tip: Over 2.5 Goals
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Senegal 1 v 2 Colombia
England v Belgium - Thursday 28 June – World Cup – BET HERE
The outcome here will decide who finishes top of Group G and it will be interesting should these teams draw because first place will be determined by which side has the fewest yellow cards! Both teams have won their last four matches, but I expect both managers to rest several first team players. I’m going for Both Teams to Score here and I’ll back a Draw in Kaliningrad.
Match Tip: Both Teams to Score
Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: England 2 v 2 Belgium
