Mr. Predictor returns with betting tips for the Champions League and Europa League semi-final, second legs. Bet on the action here.
Liverpool 3 v 1 Barcelona – Tuesday 7 May – Champions League – Both Teams to Score (1.45)
It’s going to be really difficult for Liverpool to get back into this tie, although their home form is encouraging. The Reds have won 13 of their last 15 games at Anfield and eight of their last ten home games in the Champions League. Barcelona have only won three of their last ten away games in the Champions League knockout stages, but some of their players were rested at the weekend. I think Liverpool can win but I expect Barca to score.
Ajax 2 v 1 Tottenham – Wednesday 8 May – Champions League – Both Teams to Score (1.60)
Ajax are hoping to reach the final for first time since 1996 and their 1-0 win last week gives them a great chance. Tottenham will go all out in attack, and Both Teams to Score has been a winning bet in eight of their last ten away games in the Champions League. However, they have looked quite tired lately, so I’m not sure it will be enough here.
Chelsea 2 v 1 Eintracht Frankfurt – Thursday 9 May – Europa League – Over 2.5 Goals (1.65)
I think Chelsea will win this one. They haven’t lost any of their last 16 games in the Europa League and have a perfect home record in the competition this season. Over 2.5 Goals has happened in five of those six home games this season, and it’s been the same in five of Frankfurt’s six away games too. I think this will be an open game and we can expect some goals.
Valencia 3 v 1 Arsenal – Thursday 9 May – Europa League – Valencia Win (1.90)
Arsenal had a good result last week when they beat Valencia 3-1 but this will be tough. The Gunners have lost six of their last ten away games, including the last two. Valencia, on the other hand, have won seven of their last ten games at the Mestalla. They have also recorded eight home wins in a row in the Europa League. I have to back another Home Win here.
Standard Liege 3 v 1 Gent – Friday 10 May – First Division A – Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals (1.95)
Standard Liege have won eight of their last ten home games but they have struggled defensively. However, they have won four of their last five games against Gent, who are winless in their last three away games in the league. Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals has been a winning bet in the last four meetings between these sides, and I’m going to back the same this time.
