Mr. Predictor’s betting tips for the international break

The international break is upon us and that can only mean one thing. Mr. Predictor is back with some betting tips. Bet on them here.

Germany 2 v 1 Argentina – Wednesday 9 October – International Friendly – Over 2.5 Goals

We have a huge clash here in this midweek friendly. International breaks can sometimes be a bit boring, but not when the footballing gods deliver matches like this! I’m looking through the stats and all I can see is goals. Four of the last five friendlies for Germany had Over 2.5 Goals and the same is true for three of Argentina’s last five. The head-to-head also looks good, with three or more goals rippling the net in three of the last five meetings. The winner of this game is harder to predict, but overall I think the Germans have the quality to win this one.

Brazil 2 v 0 Senegal – Thursday 10 October – International Friendly – Under 2.5 Goals

This game sees one of the big boys in African football pit their might against a traditional powerhouse of world football. This will be tough for Senegal, but their defensive record gives them a shot. In eight of their last ten games, Under 2.5 Goals was a winning bet. Four of Brazil’s past six friendlies also had Under 2.5 Goals. I hate to say it but I think the Samba Boys will win again, but I’m expecting Kalidou Koulibaly and his teammates to push them all the way.

Russia 2 v 0 Scotland – Thursday 10 October – Euro 2020 Qualifier – Home Win

It’s been another miserable qualifying campaign for Scotland. They only have two wins, against the group’s whipping boys San Marino, and are therefore second to last. They lost 2-1 at home to today’s opponents, which was a real psychological blow. Russia meanwhile have managed five wins in a row, which included that precious win in Scotland. They are second in the group and a win here would almost guarantee their place in the Euros.

Czech Republic 1 v 3 England – Friday 11 October – Euro 2020 Qualifier – Away Win

The Three Lions are marching towards Euro 2020. They have won six Euro qualifiers in a row and they haven’t lost any qualifier, including for World Cups, since 2009. Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori are the latest young players to be included into Gareth Southgate’s army and you feel as though this will be another three points. The Czechs are inconsistent, with three wins and three losses in their past six games. England battered them 5-0 in their last meeting and I think the home faithful will leave disappointed again.

Iceland 1 v 3 France – Friday 11 October – Euro 2020 Qualifier – Over 2.5 Goals

I love these kinds of games. I put my glasses on, read the stats, and I can only see one thing. GOALS! The last five meetings had Over 2.5 Goals. In fact, they had Over 3.5 Goals but I’m not going to get greedy. France have won eight of their last ten games and beaten Iceland in four of their last give meetings. I think this will be another win, with plenty of action for the spectators.
