Hello gang! This week there are some great fixtures in France and Italy featuring some of the biggest teams in Europe. There’s also a big Premier League match on Friday. Here are my thoughts. You can bet on these games here.

Dijon 1 v 2 PSG – Wednesday 12 February – Coupe de France – Over 2.5 Goals (1.45)

Both of these teams were involved in exciting games at the weekend. Dijon drew 3-3 with Nantes on Saturday, a result that extended their unbeaten run at home to 11 games. PSG, meanwhile, won 4-2 against Lyon. That was their eighth win in a row in all competitions, and 12 of their last 15 games have featured Over 2.5 Goals. Their last nine meetings with Dijon have also been high-scoring, the last of which Dijon actually won in November. I think that PSG will take revenge in the cup and I expect more goals.

Inter Milan 2 v 1 Napoli – Wednesday 12 February – Coppa Italia – Both Teams to Score (1.70)

Inter Milan came from 2-0 down to beat AC Milan 4-2 on Sunday night, which is a huge win given that Juventus dropped points. It also means that they remain unbeaten in their last ten games. They’re now back in action in the cup and this will be their fifth home game in the Coppa Italia so far in 2020. The last four of their cup games have all seen both teams score. Napoli have been doing well lately under Gennaro Gattuso but a defeat to Lecce at the weekend has set them back. I expect a Home Win here.

Lyon 2 v 2 Marseille – Wednesday 12 February – Coupe de France – Over 2.5 Goals (1.70)

Marseille are unbeaten in their last 16 games in all competitions, but their recent record against Lyon isn’t good. They beat their rivals in November but prior to that they had lost four times in a row against them. Lyon were beaten 4-2 by PSG on Sunday, which was only their third defeat in their last 15 games. Their games recently have been very high-scoring – nine of the last ten have seen Over 2.5 Goals. I think that’s a good bet for this game and I think the result will be a Draw in 90 minutes.

AC Milan 1 v 2 Juventus – Thursday 13 February – Coppa Italia – Both Teams to Score (1.75)

These two teams both suffered big defeats at the weekend. AC Milan lost 4-2 to bitter rivals Inter Milan despite having led 2-0 at half time. That result means that they haven’t won any of their last three games in 90 minutes, while Both Teams to Score has been a winning bet in four of their last five games. Juventus lost to Hellas Verona on Saturday. Both teams have scored in seven of their last ten games, including each of their last four away from home. However, they have beaten the Rossoneri nine times in a row so I have to back them to win.

Wolves 1 v 1 Leicester – Friday 14 February – Premier League – Both Teams to Score (1.70)

These sides have been very impressive this season but neither are in great form right now. Wolves have only won once in their last eight games, although I should note that they have played Liverpool twice and Man United three times in that run. Leicester have only won two of their last seven games, one of which came in the FA Cup. My bet for this game will be Both Teams to Score, which has happened in eight out of ten league games for both of these teams. Their last meeting ended in a draw in August and I’m backing the same here.
