Hello everyone. Here’s my preview to ten of the games on the Football Jackpot King list this weekend. Make sure you read it before you bet.
Southampton v West Ham (Premier League)
I can’t possibly expect anything from West Ham. They have lost four of their last five games and were beaten by Arsenal on Monday night. It was the first time that the Gunners had won an away league game after losing at half time since 2011. Southampton have won their last two matches at St. Mary’s and, even though they lost at Newcastle, they still looked good.
Manchester United v Everton (Premier League)
United have gone five games unbeaten in the Premier League and have just recorded big wins over Spurs and their rivals Manchester City. Everton’s win over Chelsea on Saturday pushed them up the table, but they have lost six of their eight away games this campaign. The Toffees have lost on four of their last five visits to Old Trafford, too.
Real Sociedad v Barcelona (La Liga)
Barcelona used to have a terrible record away to Sociedad but they have now won on their last three visits to Anoeta. In fact, they have won seven times in a row against the Basque side in all competitions. The champions have won nine of their last ten league games and several key players were rested for the trip to Inter Milan in midweek.
Espanyol v Real Betis (La Liga)
This season is going terribly for Espanyol. They’re bottom of La Liga and have lost eight of their last ten league games. This match also comes just three days after their Europa League game against CSKA Moscow. Real Betis are on a three-game winning streak and have a week to prepare.
Wolfsburg v Borussia M’Gladbach (Bundesliga)
Wolfsburg have been terrible over the past six weeks, losing four of their last five league games. Monchengladbach, in contrast, are flying. That win over Bayern Munich last weekend keeps them top of the Bundesliga. With RB Leipzig only a point behind, they can’t afford to slip up here.
Schalke v Eintracht Frankfurt (Bundesliga)
Three wins in five games has put Schalke fourth in the Bundesliga. They’re level on points with Freiburg and Leverkusen, though, so they have to keep winning. Frankfurt haven’t won any of their last four league games and have lost five of their six away games in the Bundesliga. There might be some tired legs, too, following their Europa League game on Thursday.
Bologna v Atalanta (Serie A)
Atalanta have won nine of their last ten games against Bologna over the last five years and they are in great form right now. They have won four games in a row in all competitions and are through to the Champions League knockout stages. Bologna, on the other hand, have lost six of their last ten games.
Fiorentina v Inter Milan (Serie A)
League leaders Inter Milan were eliminated from the Champions League on Tuesday, but their away record in the Serie A is excellent. They have won all eight of their games on the road this season and are playing a Fiorentina side that has lost four games in a row.
Brest v Nice (Ligue 1)
I’ve been impressed by Brest’s home form since they were promoted over the summer. They have only lost one home game all season, to PSG, and beat Strasbourg 5-0 here last Tuesday. In contrast, Nice have lost seven away games in a row in all competitions.
Toulouse v Stade Reims (Ligue 1)
Toulouse are bottom of Ligue 1 following seven straight defeats in the league. Stade Reims are unbeaten in their last four games and have already won away to PSG and Marseille this season. Are Toulouse going to lose again?
