Mr. Predictor's thoughts for the weekend games

Hi guys, it might be the international week and it might feel like we all want club football back, but there are bets to be won! Here are my tips for the Euro 2020 qualifying games this weekend. Bet on football here.

England 3 v 0 Bulgaria – Saturday 7 September – Euro 2020 qualifiers – England Win and BTTS No (1.30)

The Three Lions return to Wembley and boast a great recent record. In 90 minutes they are unbeaten in nine games, plus they have won their last 15 qualifiers at this stadium. In that time they have only conceded three goals. When these two sides met in Euro 2012 qualifiers, England won 4-0 and 3-0. Bulgaria are winless in their last seven and they will struggle to keep Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane at bay. I see nothing but a convincing win for Gareth Southgate’s charges and a clean sheet is highly likely.

Serbia 1 v 1 Portugal – Saturday 7 September – Euro 2020 qualifiers – Both Teams to Score (1.95)

This is an interesting battle between two well-matched sides. Serbia only have one defeat in their last ten and have four wins out of five at home. Both teams scored in all of those five games and considering the quality of both sides today, I see that happening again. Portugal are unbeaten in ten and I can see them getting a good point on the road today.

New York City 3 v 1 New England – Saturday 7 September – MLS – Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals (1.60)

New York City are flying. They’re second in the Eastern Conference with two games in hand. They have won seven of their last ten. Nine of those had Both Teams to Score and Over 2.5 Goals. Meanwhile New England are fifth, with just one win in five. Both teams scored in their last four games, but I don’t see it being enough for them to stop their bad run.

Botafogo 0 v 0 Atletico Mineiro – Sunday 8 September – Serie A – Under 2.5 Goals (1.60)

Botafogo are struggling this season. They have only won 50% of their league home games and are winless in three Serie A matches. Atletico are hardly better. They lost their last three away games in the league and mustered only three away wins in eight so far. Under 2.5 Goals has won in four of the last five head-to-head matches.

Santos 2 v 1 Athletico Paranaense – Sunday 8 September – Serie A – Both Teams to Score (2.10)

Santos are second in the league and have won seven of their last ten Serie A games. In eight league games at the Estádio Urbano Caldeira this season, they have won six, with Both Teams to Score in five of them. Paranaense have lost three of their last five, but BTTS occurred in six of their nine away games.
