Hi everyone! This weekend I’ve got Premier League betting tips for the final day of the season. I’m also looking at two games in Europe on Saturday. Bet on the weekend matches here.
Leicester v Manchester United – Sunday 26 July – Premier League
It’s winner takes all at the King Power. If Chelsea avoid defeat against Wolves, then the winner in this match will finish in the top four. The loser will end the season fifth and miss out on Champions League football in 2020/21.
Leicester have won three of their last five home games in all competitions. They have scored nine goals across those games, too, so I don’t doubt their ability to find the net. United, meanwhile, have conceded in three of their last four matches.
I think Both Teams to Score (odds 1.70) is a smart bet for this game.
Napoli v Sassuolo – Saturday 25 July – Serie A
Both of these teams are currently outside the top six. Napoli only need a point to be sure of finishing above the visitors in the table. They’ve won three of their last four home games. Both Teams to Score has been a winning bet in each of their last nine home games in all competitions.
Sassuolo have failed to win any of their last three games. However, they have scored and conceded in each of their last ten games. My tip is Both Teams to Score at odds of 1.55.
Benfica v Sporting – Saturday 25 July – Primeira Liga
Porto won the league title this season, so Portugal’s other giants will have to settle for places in the top three instead. Clashes between these sides are usually very low-scoring. Under 2.5 Goals (1.90) has been a winning bet in four of their last five meetings in the Primeira Liga.
It’s been the same in three of Benfica’s last five league games, and in each of the last four for Sporting. That will be my tip for this game.
Arsenal v Watford – Sunday 26 July – Premier League
Watford know that any result here could see them relegated. The problem for them is that they have lost each of their last five away games. They have also lost their last two games at the Emirates without even scoring.
Arsenal have been very inconsistent this season, but they have won two of their three home games since the restart. Mikel Arteta has also said that his players must put in a good performance ahead of the FA Cup final next Saturday. The odds for an Arsenal win are 1.95 – I think that’s good value here.
Chelsea v Wolves – Sunday 26 July – Premier League
Chelsea only need a point to ensure that they finish in the top four. They have only kept one clean sheet in their last five games though, and that was against bottom side Norwich.
Wolves have scored in seven of their last ten away games, and Both Teams to Score has been a winning bet in each of their last three meetings with Chelsea. I can see it happening again, so I’m adding it to my betslip at odds of 1.75.
