Premier Projects and RJC have begun the construction of a major sports complex in Cameroon, giving residents a state of the art facility to stay active.
Premier Projects, the charity sector of Premier Loto, will assist in building a handball, volleyball and basketball court at the Paul VI Provincial Seminary in Douala. The group will also renovate the existing football pitch.
All aspects of the sports complex will be brand new, modern and of the highest quality, meaning students of the religious school and the local community, will have access to important sporting facilities.
The work will cost 32,545,000F CFA and further highlights the commitment of Premier Projects, RJC and Premier Loto to giving back to Cameroonian communities in need.
The sports complex comes hot on the heels of RJC and Premier Projects revealing a new health centre being built in Douala. You can read about this here.
A spokesman for Premier Projects commented: “We are all very excited to see the construction work begin on this sports complex. We believe that healthy communities are happy communities, and this work confirms our commitment to helping people stay active.
“Everyone at Premier Projects wants to thank our partner, RJC, for assisting us, as well as the seniors at Paul VI Provincial Seminary. The school is an integral part of the religious community and being able to provide future priests with a place to stay active is something we are proud of.”
The complex is expected to take 16 weeks to complete. Premier Projects confirmed that they will host an opening ceremony, with teams invited to compete. More details will follow.
