Liverpool and Manchester City look to continue with their neck and neck battle at the top of the table whilst things are expected to get more dramatic at the opposite end of the table. Here are Things to look out for to in the Premier League. You can bet on the Premier League here.

More misery for Chelsea

Just when you thought Chelsea’s tough run of fixtures was coming to an end, another difficult Premier League match appears. Tottenham are the next to arrive at Stamford Bridge with Maurizio Sarri under pressure. The Blues have lost three of their last five league games a run which resulted in dropping out of the top four. Spurs have beaten Chelsea three times out of five and although they lost away to Burnley at the weekend, they are still a formidable opponent for the limping Blues. They registered their first ever victory at the Bridge in the Premier League era last season and with Harry Kane back, a repeat of that performance is within bounds.

Relegation six-pointer at Southampton

Southampton and Fulham did not help themselves this past weekend. They are now treading dangerously at the foot of the Premier League table and on Wednesday, they play each other in a vital clash at St Mary’s. The Saints are finding some good form under newly appointed manager Ralph Hasenhuttl, with four wins in seven league games, but draws against Crystal Palace and Burnley disrupted their momentum. A home loss to Cardiff was another devastating blow to their survival chances. Fulham are in serious trouble, though. They lost 3-1 to West Ham last Friday to make it three losses in a row and they need to start getting results now.

Liverpool and Manchester City title push

Liverpool failed to take advantage of a Manchester United team ravaged with injuries on Sunday as they only managed to draw 0-0. The Red Devils made all their substitutions in the first half and even had better chances than their archrivals. Liverpool have now drawn three of their last four league matches and are just a point above champions Manchester City. They’ll have a chance to get back to winning ways when they face a stubborn Watford team at Anfield on Wednesday. Meanwhile, City have won seven of their last eight matches and host West Ham with a chance to put more pressure on the stumbling Reds.

New start for Leicester

Poor form and an embarrassing 4-1 loss to Crystal Palace on Saturday resulted in the dismissal of Leicester City manager Claude Puel after 16 months in charge. The defeat by Palace was their seventh loss in nine matches and definitely the final straw. First-team coaches Mike Stowell and Adam Sadler will lead the team out when they play Brighton & Hove Albion at home. Following four straight home losses, the fans became increasingly exasperated by the performances since their last win on New Year’s Day at Everton. The Foxes are not in relegation trouble by any means, they sit 12th on 32 points and face teams outside the top six in their next five matches.

Tough night for short-handed Manchester United

Manchester United were expected to receive a battering from their nemesis Liverpool on Sunday afternoon. The Red Devils were already without first-choice midfielder Nemanja Matic and winger Anthony Martial. Before the end of the first half, they had used all their three substitutions with Juan Mata, Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard coming off with injuries in the 21st, 25th and 43rd minute respectively. On Wednesday, they face another difficult trip to Crystal Palace. United have never lost against Palace in the Premier League era. United needed a remarkable comeback to win 3-2 last season at Selhurst Park and this time around they face even a mightier task with key of their players missing.
