The final day in the championship promises to e an interesting one, two teams have the potential to win the title whilst the race for the Playoffs is still on. Here are the things to look out for.

Norwich, to wrap up the league title?

Norwich claimed their place in the Premier League last weekend when they beat Blackburn Rovers by a 2-1 score line. Next in line is Aston Villa who have been pretty impressive too throughout the season. The Canaries have been on a great run of form and they just need a point to seal the title. They are heading to one of the hardest grounds in the league at the moment although Aston Villa have booked a playoff spot with an excellent run of form. That being the case they may not have anything left to play and we see the visitors grabbing themselves a point in the very least.

The icing on the cake as Sheffield look for final day win

Sheffield United are aiming to celebrate promotion with a win away to Stoke City. They could take the title on the final day of the season, and you can be sure they are aiming for one more victory to move them into first place. Stoke come into this clash with patchy form, having won just once in the last three months whilst The Blades have won three straight games to nil ahead of this one. It’s looking easy for the visitors and they will be hopeful to get a good result

Derby, to share the spoils with the Baggies?

Derby missed their chance to secure sixth on Wednesday night when they drew 1-1 with Swansea and they will be hoping to correct that when they host West Brom on the final day in the Championship. The Rams are in a fight to land their minimum aim this season, with at least a sixth-place finish. They have made the playoffs over the years, but have found it difficult to get in the top flight. West Brom comes into this clash with hopes of finishing third, as they currently sit three points shy of Leeds in the table. This promises to be a tough one and a draw is on the cards here.

Both teams to score

Middlesbrough will head to the New York Stadium in full knowledge that they need three points in their playoff push when they play Rotherham. Tony Pulis has done an incredible job to take his team to the verge of the top six although time is running out on them. Rotherham have very little to play for but they will be aiming to post a decent finish to the season. The question that begs is; will they be able to rally and go out on a high? We see them getting on the scoresheet, having found the net in 91% of their home games. With Boro’s push for sixth, we expect them to come all out and get some goals too.

Leeds to get back to winning ways?

Leeds United gifted Aston Villa a goal in a bizarre 1-1 draw that saw their promotion hopes disappear last weekend. Their hopes are now consigned to the playoffs, and they will need to be ready for another promotion push. Marcelo Bielsa’s men can return to winning ways and secure third place with a success at Ipswich this weekend, but will they return to form? The visitors need a point to secure third, but they will be hoping to end a three-game run without a victory.
