Things to look out for in the Premier League: Match Day 32

The Premier League is back after the international break.  Liverpool and Manchester City look to continue with their neck-to-neck battle at the top, while Huddersfield could be relegated officially. Here are some of the Things to look out for in the Premier League: Match Day 32. You can bet on the Premier League here.

City’s terrific form to continue

Manchester City are on course to an unprecedented quadruple this season. They have lost just once in their last 20 matches in all competitions, winning a staggering 19. Pep Guardiola’s men travel to relegation-threatened Fulham in Saturday’s early kick-off in a bid to leapfrog Liverpool to first in the table for 24 hours at least. They’ll also be aiming to extend their winning streak to seven in the Premier League when they visit Craven Cottage. With the Premier League crown not a sure bet for the Manchester-based team yet and the Reds breathing down their neck, they should aim for maximum points on Saturday afternoon.

More misery for Spurs?

Tottenham Hotspur have not won a Premier League match since the 10th of February. In that time, they have lost three times; to Burnley, Chelsea and Southampton, and snatched a draw against city rivals Arsenal in the North London Derby. However, things might get a bit ugly for them when they visit Anfield on Sunday evening to play title challengers Liverpool. The Reds are undefeated in their last 36 home matches in the league, while Spurs have not won at Anfield since 2011. They might need more than luck to triumph against a formidable Liverpool side.

Could Huddersfield’s fate be sealed this weekend?

Huddersfield Town’s chances of staying in the Premier League are hanging in the balance with the season entering the last stages. Furthermore, their fate could be sealed this weekend if they fail to win their match against Crystal Palace. The Terriers have 14 points and are rock bottom of the league. Should the Terriers lose and Burnley and Southampton win their matches, they will be relegated. Wins for Burnley and Southampton would move them both to 33 points. If the results go that way, Huddersfield would stay on 14 points, 19 points behind the two with six league games to play.

Can Chelsea improve their away form?

Everton inflicted another defeat on Chelsea in their last match. That was Chelsea’s fourth away loss in five matches. This weekend, they face another difficult trip away to strugglers Cardiff City on Sunday. Given they are still fighting for a top four spot, the Blues will have to be at their best to secure maximum points. They have conceded 14 goals and scored just two in their last five away trips. However, the hosts have a poor record against the big boys. They have lost all their four home matches against the top six conceding sixteen goals in the process, a stat that might excite the visitors.

Arsenal to make it ten league home wins in a row?

Only Manchester City and Liverpool have a better home record than Arsenal in the Premier League this season. The Gunners are on course to register ten successive home wins in a row. Their top four hopes hinge on their home form in their remaining matches given they still have difficult trips to Everton, Wolves, Watford and Leicester. The Gunners have registered huge wins over the course of the season which includes wins against Spurs, Chelsea and Manchester United and most recently Manchester United. Only City have beaten them at home. Their remaining matches at home are against teams in the bottom half of the table starting with Newcastle on Monday.
