It’s another action-packed weekend of league football across Europe and we’ve come up with Top 5 Bets for the Weekend for you to consider. Bet on these games here.

Southampton v West Ham – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.60

Southampton host West Ham in another relegation six-pointer in Saturday’s late kick-off. The Saints had built up some momentum before last weekend’s narrow defeat at Newcastle. Wins over fellow relegation strugglers Watford and Norwich had taken them out of the relegation places but the defeat at St James’ Park sent them back to the scrap. The host’s last five games in the league have seen Over 2.5 Goals while three of the Hammers’ last five league games have seen three or more goals scored. The last six meetings between these two have seen Over 2.5 Goals. A high-scoring game is in store at St Mary’s.

Athletic Bilbao v Eibar – Athletic Bilbao Win – 1.70

Bilbao will be aiming to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat to Real Betis. Before that defeat, they had won three league games in a row.  They have notched six wins and a draw from their eight home matches this term. Furthermore, Gaizka Garitano’s men have lost just one of their last 22 La Liga games at San Mames. Meanwhile, Eibar suffered their fourth defeat in a row last weekend against Getafe who beat them 1-0. Despite last weekend’s setback at Betis, Bilbao are huge favourites to win this due to their excellent form at San Mames and Eibar’s recent troubles.

Cologne v Bayer Leverkusen – Bayer Leverkusen Win – 1.80

After a poor run of form where they went four games without a win, Bayer Leverkusen have turned things around with three wins in their last four Bundesliga games. They have also won four of their six Bundesliga away games. Cologne have earned one point in their last six Bundesliga games. The hosts have also won just one of their six Bundesliga home games. Leverkusen should get the job done considering that they are playing a team stuck in the bottom of the table.

Metz v Olympique Marseille – Olympique Marseille Win – 1.80

Olympique Marseille have won their last six Ligue 1 games in a row. They are second in the table, five points behind PSG who have a game in hand. Metz lost 4-1 to Nice last week to extend their winless run to eight games which saw them slump down to 18th in the table. This is a meeting between two teams on completely different trajectories. Therefore, Marseille’s efficiency and momentum should take them over the line against a struggling Metz side.

Wolves v Tottenham Hotspur – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.90

Giant-killers Wolves are hoping to slay another giant this weekend. Nuno Espirito Santo’s men host a rejuvenated Tottenham Hotspur side at Molineux on Sunday looking to extend their unbeaten run to 12 league games. Last season’s two fixtures between these two saw Over 2.5 Goals. Spurs last five games have seen three or more goals scored while three of Wolves’ last five games in all competitions have seen three or more goals. With Spurs defence looking vulnerable, this should be an entertaining affair.
