Manchester United v Norwich – Both Teams to Score – 1.80
United’s defensive problems were laid bare in the first half of their 3-1 defeat to Manchester City on Tuesday. They have been particularly woeful in the Premier League, where they have only kept three clean sheets in 21 games this season. Eight of their last ten league games at Old Trafford have seen them score and concede, including each of the past seven. Furthermore, injury to Harry Maguire means that the Red Devils will be left light in defence. Both teams have scored in eight of Norwich’s last ten games – can it happen here?
Lazio v Napoli – Lazio Win – 2.05
With nine consecutive wins, Lazio are the in-form side in the Serie A. They have won six of their eight home league games this season, leaving them third in the table. Napoli, on the other hand, have only won one of their last ten league games. Their last visit to the Stadio Olimpico in November saw them lose 2-1 to AS Roma. It looks as though this will be another fruitless journey.
Tottenham v Liverpool – Liverpool Win – 1.70
Liverpool are on course to break the record for most points accrued in a Premier League season. They have won 19 of their 20 games so far this season and have not lost a single game in the league in the last 12 months. They have also won their last four games against Tottenham, including the Champions League final in June. Tottenham have only won two of their last five league games and will be without the services of Harry Kane. The Reds should be confident of extending their winning run.
Inter Milan v Atalanta – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.60
The league leaders meet the top scorers at the San Siro this Saturday. Inter, who currently top the table, have scored 39 league goals so far this season and eight of their last ten league matches have featured Over 2.5 Goals. Atalanta have been even more prolific in front of goal, with 48 goals in 18 games (including five in each of their last two matches). Fifteen of those 18 games have seen Over 2.5 Goals scored. Expect an entertaining clash on Saturday.
PSG v AS Monaco – Over 3.5 Goals – 1.60
PSG have scored six goals in each of their two cup games in the last week, but Thomas Tuchel’s side now turn their attention back to league football. There have been at least four goals in each of their last seven games in all competitions, though, so opponents Monaco could be in for another horrible night against the Parisiens. The visitors have conceded a total of 34 goals in their last eight games against the hosts, an average of 4.25 per game. Considering PSG’s current form that trend looks set to continue.
