League football takes a break but there’s still plenty of football this week in the international stage. We have looked at the odds and stats and came up with some selections for you to mull over. You can bet on these games here.

Germany v Serbia – Home Win – 1.45

The Germans host Serbia in a friendly match before their massive showdown for their Euro 2020 qualifier against the Netherlands this coming Sunday. Germany have only lost twice at home in their last 20 matches in all competitions failing to score only three times. Serbia, on the other hand, have won four of their last five away matches. However, those wins came against lowly ranked teams like Nigeria, Lithuania and Costa Rica. The four-time World Cup winners own the head-to-head record with two wins to Serbia’s one. Home advantage favours the Germans and they should comfortably get the job done.

Austria v Poland – Both Teams to Score – 1.85

The 23rd and 20th ranked teams meet in a huge clash in 2020 Euro qualifiers. Austria have won twice in ten matches at home. However, they’ve scored in all but two of their last ten home matches. Poland have found the net in seven of their last ten matches in all competitions. The Polish have also scored in eight of their ten away matches in all competitions. Moreover, in the five occasions where they’ve met, both teams managed to score. So you can fancy both of these strong teams to find the back of the net in what is expected to be a cagey affair.

Belgium v Russia – Over 2.5 Goals – 1.65

2018 World Cup semi-finalists Belgium and hosts Russia meet on Thursday for a Group I clash for the 2020 Euro qualifiers. The Belgians have failed to score only once in their last 15 matches in all competitions. Ten out of those 15 matches saw three or more goals scored. In Russia’s last ten fixtures, six had Over 2.5 Goals. It’s difficult to keep out a star-studded Belgium squad for 90 minutes so this match should see a couple of goals.

Slovakia v Hungary – Home Win – 1.70

Slovakia have won seven of their last ten home matches losing two and drawing the other. Two of those wins were against Denmark and Netherlands, two strong European sides. Hungary, on the other hand, have lost six of their last ten away matches in all competitions winning just once against Latvia in 2016. The hosts have beaten the Hungarians twice in their four meetings. Slovakia’s solid home record will be difficult to break for any team

Japan v Colombia – Over 2.5 Goals – 2.00

Two of the last four matches between these two has seen two or more goals scored. Six of Samurai Blue’s last ten matches has seen Over 2.5 Goals scored. Meanwhile, Colombia’s last ten fixtures have seen two or more goals scored. A meeting between Japan and Colombia almost never disappoints. A thriller is on the cards with lots of goals given the quality both possess.
