The transfer window has been dominated by news of players and managers changing allegiances. Today we take a look at some of the managers who have been linked with particular jobs and how things could turn out. Bet on football here.

Antonio Conte to Inter Milan

Inter Milan have parted ways with head coach Luciano Spalletti, with Antonio Conte already hired to replace him. Spalletti joined Nerazzurri from Roma in 2017 and managed two straight fourth-place finishes and qualification to the Champions League. Conte has signed a three-year contract at the San Siro and is tasked with mounting a credible title challenge. The Former Chelsea and Juventus head coach has been out of a job since parting ways with the London club towards the beginning of last season. The board would have known that Conte is a demanding man and he will need to be supported in the transfer market for him to guarantee success.

Maurizio Sarri to Juventus

Reports have emerged that Juventus players have been informed to expect Maurizio Sarri to be their next manager. The Old Lady are in search of an experienced coach to lead the team next season and the Chelsea manager has emerged as the front runner to replace Max Allegri. Despite a very positive first season, Sarri-ball has not been received very well by the Chelsea faithful. Meanwhile, Juve have made the former Napoli boss their top choice to take on the reigns of management. Sarri is expected to hold talks with the club in the coming days though he has insisted that he has a contract for the next two years.

Massimiliano Allegri to Barcelona

Former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri could be set to replace Ernesto Valverde at Barcelona as Head Coach, according to reports. The traumatic 4-0 Champions League semi-final second leg defeat to Liverpool and the loss to Valencia in the Copa del Rey final is believed to have been the last straw in a series of disappointing showings when it matters. Valverde has led the Catalans to back-to-back league titles across his two league seasons in charge but has come under pressure for these European failures.

Jose Mourinho to PSG

Jose Mourinho is potentially eyeing a move to Paris Saint-Germain after doubts emerged about the security of Thomas Tuchel’s position. The German managed to win Ligue 1 as was expected of him but his performance in Europe and in the cup competitions was just dismal. Mourinho has had a fantastic managerial career, winning league titles in four countries as well as winning the Champions League twice and the Europa League. He definitely has the gravitas to lead this side and given the right support as PSG are likely to do you can expect the special one to dominate the headlines once more in the coming days.

Frank Lampard to Chelsea

Reports suggest that Chelsea are considering Frank Lampard as a potential replacement should Sarri leave. The Blues legend is viewed as a future boss but ordinarily another year of managerial experience under his belt would work perfectly for him. Uncertainty over Sarri’s future at Stamford Bridge could see Chelsea hasten his expected return. Chelsea understand that a return for Lampard comes with the prospect of Jody Morris as a number two. That would be perfect coincidence as it would help to reunite a fan base that has been hostile to Sarri on numerous occasions this season.
